Did you ever thought that most of the voice actors today are now doing voices for video games?
Example: Michael Bell, whose creidts include G.I. Joe, Smurfs, and Rugrats did voice work for such games as Call of Duty, Enter the Matrix, and Legacy of Kain: Defiance.
Does anyone know who is also doing voiceovers for video games?

Alan Young, the voice of Scrooge McDuck, was the voice of Haggis McHaggis in The Curse of Monkey Island (i.e. Monkey Island 3).

Was trying out the view all posts feature on my public profile and found this thread. I'm currently addicted to Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic. This game is a more dramatic experience than all three prequels combined (and I liked all the prequels). The music, voice talent, and writing all combined for a magnificent tale of romance, betrayal, and adventure. I seriously geeked out when I saw the credits. It seemed like all of my favorite voice actors were present in some capacity.
Phil Lamarr (cameo), Voice of Samurai Jack, Green Lantern, etc.
Ed Asner, Lou on the Mary Tyler Moore Show, Hudson from Gargoyles
Grey DeLisle, Padme on Star Wars Clone Wars as well as a couple of roles from Samurai Jack
Neil Ross
Gregg Berger
Frank Welker
All participated in G.I. Joe and Transformers. And Frank's well ... he's Frank.
Jason Marsden, Gear from Static shock
Tom Kane, Yoda from Star Wars Clone Wars
Corey Burton, Modern voice of Captain Hook. For Superman fans, Brainiac.
And those were just a few.

Hardly surprising. A voice job's a voice job, be it video games, toons, movies, commercials, etc.

Off the top of my head:
Phil Hartman - Blasto
Rino Romano - Spider-Man, Spider-Man 2
Dee Bradley Baker - Spider-Man, Spider-Man 2
Efrem Zimbalist Jr. - Spider-Man
Jennifer Hale - Spider-Man, Spider-Man 2
Tim Daly - Superman: Shadow of Apokalips
Dana Delaney - Superman: Shadow of Apokalips
Clancy Brown - Superman: Shadow of Apokalips
Victor Brandt - Superman: Shadow of Apokalips
Joanna Cassidy - Superman: Shadow of Apokalips
Michael Kaufman - Superman: Shadow of Apokalips
George Dsundza (sp?) - Superman: Shadow of Apokalips
Malcolm McDowell - Superman: Shadow of Apokalips
Lori Petty - Superman: Shadow of Apokalips
Brion James - Superman: Shadow of Apokalips
Kevin Michael Richardson - Superman: Shadow of Apokalips
Michael York - Superman: Shadow of Apokalips
Neil Ross - Star Wars: Rogue Squadron
There's MANY more but these are just what comes to mind as they are from games that I own.

Aah, but video games have only become "voice jobs" in the last five to ten years. And as such, they are still low profile jobs. In general, I do not believe video games voice actors are paid as much, nor do they receive royalties (a point which recently has been brought up by the unions). Which is why it is rare to see as much crossover between the two media. Only now are "celebrities" starting to voice games.

In general, voice jobs are considered low-profile which is why there's debate over union demands. "Celebrities" have not only "now started" to voice games. Only the knowledge of them of doing them has. Ten years ago is not now, which is why I was "hardly surprised" by dtemplar's initial post.

So I'm getting old, what of it! :bday: (and no, it isn't my birthday!)
Come to think of it, I believe there was a Star Trek game in 1992 that had a complete voice cast (with all of the original series actors as well). So there's an exception.
How about games that aren't carrying over a character from a tv series or movie? The first one I remember is Tachyon: The Fringe in 2000 (had Bruce Campbell starring). And I don't count Mark Hamill! :D

I remember Apocalypse from 1998 with Bruce Willis as "Trey Kincaide."
